Were you close with your siblings?

Cheryl: Yes. We moved so much I think we had to be. My sister and my brothers were closer in age but they still let me tag along a lot of the time. When I was really young I was the closest with my brother Greg (second from the right) because he was the closest in age to me. I adored him and wanted to do everything he did. I was pretty much a shadow of him. My sister was like a second mom to me. She babysat us from a very young age because she was so mature. When I was in fifth grade she was a senior and yet she started a club with me called "BBTS" (Best bud twin sisters- because we look a lot alike) and I felt so cool to be a part of something like that with only her. Brent (my other brother) and I became closer as we got older. Now I consider us to be really close. (I hope he thinks so too!!) It was really fun having a close family. I think that is why I get so homesick sometimes though - because I spent so much more time with my parents and siblings than with my friends until we moved out here. But, I know that any of them would do anything for me and I feel the same way about them. They are the best.

Doug: It seems like growing up we were always competing with each other for survival and love but after my mission it seemed like we had matured at the same time and after my older two brothers married and had kids we started getting closer.... and now it seems like we are all closer than ever. It is really fun to be around them. Growing up I was probably the closest with Mark (the baby) or Melinda (furthest on the right).
